As you would likely have seen on Social Media, through our Newsletters and on our Website, the Yarra Valley Community Power Hub Community Offers as you have known them over the past 12 months has now ceased due to the contract with Sustainability Victoria ending on the 30th June 2022.
The impact these offers has made in our community is something we are extremely proud of and we are excited to let you know that two of our local Community Energy Groups; Healesville CoRE and Clean Energy Nillumbik are going to continue these offers through their own channels.
Healesville Community Renewable Energy Inc (Healesville CoRE) is a group of local community volunteers working towards transforming Healesville into a renewable energy town. Healesville CoRE is excited to be continuing to promote a Solar & Battery Offer run by the Yarra Ranges Council and Solar Savers, the Heat Pump Hot Water Offer that was run by the Yarra Valley Community Power Hub as well as the Free Home Energy Upgrade Program and the Free Home Energy Efficiency Advisory Service!
Clean Energy Nillumbik (CEN) is a volunteer led community group committed to accelerating the transition to renewables in the green wedge shire. CEN started in 2017 with a strategy to have 100% of Nillumbik’s buildings powered by renewable energy by 2028. Our committee and membership of local residents and businesses are all committed to addressing climate change through reducing emissions from fossil fuels.
